Ruptures

Ruptures is a photo series in which I explore ruptures in ordinary public spaces, such as pavements, as a metaphor for ongoing societal and political ruptures. As an embodiment of societal and democratic vulnerabilities, I document the ongoing process of societal disintegration. Just as these interruptions have the potential to cause a person to fall if they do not walk carefully, I believe that current societal ruptures also have the potential to cause severe harm if they are not responded to appropriately.
