Cardboard Series

In the Cardboard Series, I use the simplest of everyday materials: fruit and vegetable packaging that would otherwise be thrown away. Cardboard intended to protect apples or cocktail tomatoes is given a new lease of life through an alternative recycling process. Painted in rich, bright colours using acrylic markers, the everyday material transforms from a disposable product into a work of art, moving far beyond the realm of traditional waste art.
