2025 – ongoing

Over a decade ago, I chose to move to Berlin to live, study and love. It’s a metropolis of lonely souls and semi-adventurous seekers; a city of self-exploration and hedonism; of political protest and political power; of diversity and police brutality. It’s also a city of social distance and anonymity. So, what does social distance mean for me as a (street) photographer, as an individual and as a member of society? How much social distance is necessary? Is it okay to keep my distance? And at what point does social distance turn into social isolation? These are some of the questions I explore in the series Social Distance.
